Be Positive in Your Storm
1Samuel 4:6-11, Romans 8:31
I salute you in the name of our God Jehovah Sabaoth and I decree in the capability of His ability your victory over enemies in Jesus name, amen.
Today's meal is been packed with sustenance to defy your storm and am so certain that the storm will surely obey as we trust in the SAVING GRACE OF JEHOVAH.
In the text read above was a very familiar story of how a Prophet of God lost his children to battle, the chosen nation lost a battle even while they were with the "Ark of God" the question is why did they lost the battle? Of course many of us will agreed to this that for the punishment of Eli sons and the sins of the Israelites, yes you are right in your opinion but that is not where God wants to speak to us today. 1Samuel 2:12-25, 1Samuel 3:11-18 pls read. God wants you to be courageous and be strong in the face of any battle no matter how fierce and stronger it is, FEAR IS A STRONG TOOL THAT WRECK BELIEVER IN THE BATTLE FIELD NO MATTER HOW PREPARED HE IS, ONCE YOU TRADE IT OUT YOU ARE A VICTOR ALWAYS.
The Philistines knew they were in trouble because the "Ark of God" has arrived the midst of their opponent and knowing fully well the mayhem this has caused those who fought them "Israelites" in the past, read 1Samuel 4:7-8 nonetheless, they proceeded in strength of courage to fight and they WON, not just that but captured also the power of the Israelites, read verse 9-11 hear this "9 Philistines, be strong and be men, or you will become slaves to the Hebrews just as they have been slaves to you! Be men and fight!” what a word of encouragement to face the chosen of God! Romans 8:31 this should be your watchword and not to tremble before your STORM.
Like the saying "life is a battle" and so we fight everyday, some we lost and won some yet the truth remains that the fight continues as long as d "arch enemy" Satan has his abode in this earth, c Revelation 12:7-17. But thanks be to our God who is faithful and for this He will always make a way of escape to all that will remember and trust His name for victory c Psalms 22:5.
Lessons to learn:
1. Dare the strength of your enemies to reach your goal even when it is so visible that they are stronger than you, it is already a battle won. 1Samuel 4:8
2. Fear is a reproach to His name as Jehovah Sabaoth.
3. There is need for sanitization in your tent God can not be mocked. 1Samuel 4:4
Above all it is not over until it is over, submit to God in totality of you, His name is a secured place in time of war FEAR NOT HE WILL SAVE YOU. Prover 18:10
Enjoy your victory enemies been defeated death couldn't hold Him down!

WHY?
Psalms 43
WHY?
Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I will praise him once again, since his presence saves me and he is my GOD. Psalms 43:5
Note: in the midst of confrontations GOD is still reliable
In the verses 2 of the text above, the Psalmist came to the consciousness of whom he is that his God is mighty to save from the oppression of the enemies, the alliance of "the deceitful and unjust man" let us go through this passage one more time;
"Since you are the God who strengthens me, why have you forsaken me? Why do I go around mourning under the enemy’s oppression? ISV”
This was the question David asked. Likewise, we consciously or unconsciously found our self asking same question in our confrontations today. It is important to know that no one who has never made God his or her trust can or will ask such, there must have been a cordial relationship between the two parties to bring about such courage to questioned GOD.
Lessons to learn:
1. You must have relationship with God
2. It is very important for you to know that challenges are meant to be in spite of your relationship with God, but will not overcome you for faithful is He that calls.
3. Your challenges should not be the reason to let go the sovereign God out of your life
4. When darkness is having way in someone's life all man needs is the light of God to rule out the operation: consider the prayer of Psalmist in verses 3; Send forth your light and your truth so they may guide me. Let them bring me to your holy mountain and to your dwelling places.
Note: darkness cannot give light to the darkness #db
What are the challenges? Already counting how many days to wrap up the year, the gain and lost? Maybe you already gave up on yourself, and God seems impotent over your case. Have you been crying, nothing seems interesting, are you damaged in all areas of your life? Are you having fruitless efforts? I can boldly say to you, light will shine!
Hear me friend;
1. Why do you think you are better than those who are gone beyond?
2. Why do you think you are alive? Selah
Note: "You can't be for God and alive for shame or reproach" #db
He called you; 1Peter 2:9 BBE But you are a special people, a holy nation, priests and kings, a people given up completely to God, so that you may make clear the virtues of him who took you out of the dark into the light of heaven.
Stand up and say to yourself I BELONG TO GOD AND I WILL NOT BE REPROACHED, I SERVE A GOD OF WONDERS MY LIFE IS WONDERFUL, MY LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL IN JESUS NAME.
Give your life to Jesus Christ today HE cares!
Just simply says, Lord Jesus I thank you for the life you gave on the cross, I accept you into my life as my Lord and Saviour, forgive my sins and write my name in the book of life. I congratulate you!
